Stewardship:

Well, it is time for the monthly update on our little Millie.  She is now close to 5 months old and weighs almost 5 pounds.  She has finished another round of antibiotics for her respiratory infection—she had her last kitty shots.  Now that she is getting bigger, it is a lot more difficult to get her medicine in her.  She is now acting like a little sister.  She like to chase and antagonize our older cat but we will also find them sleeping together on the bed.  Wouldn’t it be nice if we could be like that, have a disagreement one minute and just as quickly make up and get along.

No matter what we do, God is always ready to forgive, “make up and get along”.  As children of God it is our responsibility and joy to follow his example.  No matter what we do, God forgives us, he is patient with us.  We need to follow the example of God and make up and just get along.

RESALE SHOP :

“This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way. -2 Corinthians 9:11

If you don’t use it, you lose it.  How often have we heard this phrase?  It is true for our muscles and our brain.  I have been attempting to learn to loom knit, and it has not been easy.  But learning new things are enjoyable and good for my brain.  Studies have shown that people who remain intellectually active—playing cards, doing puzzles, learning new things were diagnosed with dementia later than those who were not as cognitively active.  So in these cold winter months when it is difficult to exercise our bodies, take this time to exercise your brain.  It needs to be in shape also.
